As her mother helps her put on her cathedral length veil, she can't help but to think back to when she was a little girl. When she was five years old she would put a white sheet over her head and practice walking down the aisle to her very own prince charming. This is the moment she has been waiting for all of her life. A knock at the door brings her back from her childhood memory as she turns to see her father in his black tuxedo standing in the doorway. His eyes swell up with bitter sweet tears as he stands in awe of his daughter's beauty. He sees a beautiful, glowing bride but still sees her as the innocent five year old girl with a white sheet over her head. He manages to choke back the tears and say, "It's show time." She holds her bouquet of lillies and white roses in one hand as she holds onto her father's arm with the other. As they watch each bridesmaid walk down the aisle that is lined with candelabras and roses, her father holds onto each precious moment he has with her and she reminds him that she will always be his little girl. An overwhelming feeling of joy washes over her as she hears her music cue. She can not believe how lucky she is to be marrying her best friend, her very own prince charming. She takes one last deap breath before she walks down the aisle to her future.

decisions, decisions.
Lately I've been second guessing myself...a lot. I've applied to both Otterbein and Kent State because they both have great nursing programs. I was dead set on going to Otterbein because someone (meaning my boyfriend of two years) goes there. Now don't get me wrong, Otterbein would be a great fit for me because I already have a lot of friends there, it's close to all of my family, and I think I would do better at a smaller school. Although, I can't help but wonder if my judgement is being affected by him. I had always imagined myself going to a bigger school too. It just sucks that I have to make a decision for "us" instead of a decision for "me" at the age of 17. Also, Kent State is a crazzzyyy amount cheaper!!

XLV
So the Steelers lost...crap. I knew Facebook was going to blow up about them losing so I decided to see what people posted. One status was "now all of the Steeler fans can cry as they fall off the bandwagon." ...First of all I know for a fact that this person is NOT a football fan and probably doesn't even know what a first down is. Second, this person is a hypocrite because they're jumping on the bandwagon of Steelers haters. It's one thing to dislike a football team because of a legitimate reason, but if you're going to hate them "just because" then that's not right. I also want to officially congratulate the Packers and all of their fans. It's a great feeling to win the Super Bowl, we've had that feeling six times already. I will most definitely continue to support the Steelers because that's what true fans do, I'm not just a "fair weather fan." Well, this makes me excited for next season. I can only expect great things from the Steelers.
....p.s. if anyone wants to make a smart comment to me tomorrow about the outcome of the game, don't because you will regret it.
